To all Customers in the EU.
Due to the excessive import charges made by the EU countries, Scalewarship has had to refund many transactions due to customers not willng to pay the additional and frankly extortionate import charges made by some countries.
I also currently offer standard postage or tracked/signed service. The standard service does not seem to be reliable and therefore I will now only offer the tracked and signed service.
As a result of these problems the business is making losses and this can no longer be sustained.
I do not want to remove EU countries from my website purchasing system as yet but from now on I will require acceptance by email from all EU customers that they acknowledge the custom charges they will have to pay and that they cannot use the charges as an excuse to cancel the order once it has been posted.
I will no longer take any payment from an EU customer until I have the guarantee by email.
